Programme Overview

The Certificate in Chinese (Mandarin) Language is designed to develop practical communication skills for academic, professional, and migration purposes. With the increasing presence of Chinese industries and global partnerships, proficiency in Mandarin is highly valuable in sectors such as manufacturing, hospitality, education, and international business.

This programme prepares learners for real-world communication and internationally recognised certification pathways, particularly the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi). The curriculum is aligned with HSK Levels 4, 5 & 6, covering intermediate proficiency and targeting CEFR levels B1 – C1.

Entry Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of Chinese is required (equivalent to HSK 1-3).
